How ModManual Approaches Car Modifications

ModManual is built around a simple idea: a modification guide should help you make a decision, not just list parts. We explain what a modification changes, what can go wrong, what other components it affects, and when a simpler option makes more sense.

Before buying: check exact fitment, compatibility with related modifications, installation requirements, maintenance, local regulations, and whether the part actually solves the problem you started with.

Start with the problem

If the car feels harsh, diagnose the suspension before buying another component. If an exhaust drones, identify the rpm range before swapping mufflers. If a larger tire rubs, compare wheel width and offset instead of assuming tire size is the only issue.

Our vehicle clusters

The Civic and Civic Type R guides cover fitment, wheels, tires, suspension, intake, and exhaust decisions. F-150 and Silverado guides cover leveling, wheel and tire fitment, exhaust, and practical first modifications. These connected guides are designed to answer the questions that come before and after a purchase.
